Dock went by after breaking free in yesterdays ice off on the south shore. No boat in to get it. Had two red safety cones on it.

The dock with two safety cones on it floating along... brought a big smile to my face.

A big shout out to Steve M this year, for adding and then maintaining the Snow Guage Page! I know that I enjoyed it. and statistically, where my NE View received 45% of the site traffic, the N View 13%, the Snow Guage received 23% this winter! Well done sir. Looking forward to next year's totals.

Be aware... a pretty good sized pressure ridge has formed running North-South in the main body of the Lake. Pick your crossing carefully. It'd be a real show stopper hitting it wrong. the snow can bank up and hide a wall of ice behind it.

Really love the new snow gauge, hope it sticks around, easy to read and supplies valuable info for those traveling to the area!

Rob and I are working on a new south side snow gauge camera for Sheridan. You may have to refresh your browser to see it.
Windows: Hold down Ctrl and press F5
Mac: Hold down Cmd and Shift, then press R
Android and apple. Delete cached websites?
It has replaced the 'kiwi cam' until we get it back up and running.
The camera operates differently; meaning it doesn't update every 10 minutes, but only when there is motion detected (snow hopefully!), or when I update it manually.
