There are sprinklers on all the waterfront cabins from paradise bay all the way through the little channel to a couple cabins beyond the large log home with the green tin roof. I believe the place with the red boat and sail boat is the last one with sprinklers. The sprinklers they are installing are not your common lawn sprinkler. The high pressure 2 stroke pumps they use pound out significant water.

Sadly this will be my last on location post. I have a wife and two children (9 and 6) that I'd like to spend some time with.

I am feeling very confident that everything will be ok at Sheridan Lake. Looking at the weather forecast, where the fire currently is burning, the amount of time and effort put in by the crews to protect the properties give me a sense of ease.

I'll now be watching the webcams, satellite imagery, and weather forecasts like everyone else hoping that everything will be ok.
