Hey winterlovers:) How much ice in middle of lake approximately? I have to either take snowmobile accross lake or take logging rd around. Anybody with an idea???

As Kiwi states, lots of snow on the trails. We were out again today and the trails were clear. First time I did not have to use my saw to clear them.

great to hear that people are caching fish, 3.5 pound catch is a great start to the morning. I just got back from loon lake last week and the fishing was slow, i caught a 1.5 pounder and the others caught a few more. Out of 16 people in our group only about 10 were fishing and during thoes 3 days about 7 fish were caught. 18-24 inches on loon lake right now.

Wife got a nice one today Derek about 3lbs at a guess but was a male and he was ready to spawn by the look of him

Rotten......sounds like an excellent way to serve them. I had a buddy up in the summer and he marinated his in Bud, Kokanee and whatever else he could find. He never did find one that tasted bad....the last I heard he was still trying to find one. Cheers!

Derek, a buddy of mine was up last week and got 2 bags of cubes and one block. He did them up with some rye and rum, said they tasted perfect.
