Dogsled and Eagle Eye........okay, last year it was two cougars, several foxes and a couple of coyotes..... this year it's a badger.......for some strange reason I have a knack for attracting the critters....... too bad it wasn't more of those mysterious fish that keep hidin' out......good thing we can still catch the odd brown one or two Cheers!

Great time at the lake. Anchored the boat and went for a swim...got sunburnt. Lots of folks up this year. Too bad it always has to end. I'm having the holidays after blues. Cheers to all our friends on Nath and Slater rd. Talk to you soon Dogsled and Sleroller.

I expect the fishing has been less than ideal with all the hot weather, but am making my semi-annual trip up there in a couple weeks. Can anyone shed any light on the state of fishing this year so far. Maybe some rain can set it right....

Just a follow up..... our family went to Crystal Waters last week. Super time was had by all. The horses and the staff were excellent. I highly recommend it.

Ya. those firefleas combust when they have a collision with each other.Their distruction causes more damage than lighting and campfires. We try and redirect them to lakes and streams rather than dry pine trees. I heard they carry up to 40 watts during night.

We get fireflies every year on the canal...usually show up in the second or third week of July. They're there this year again.

Thanks to the person who put our seagull up on the tree on the back road, he is home safe and sound on his perch. Has anybody else seen fireflies around the lake ?? I seen one last year and again this year.
