Today was the first time I noticed that new highway cam for HWY 24 as well. What a coincidence!

Gary, I've never ice fished sheridan so cannot compare the seasons. I can say that I have been spoiled by the great fishing in june for the last 3 years. Caught and released a 12 this year, previous best was a 8.5. Two years ago my buddy and I caught 32 fish in 4 days, 28 fish over 3 lbs, largest 10.5. Kept 4. Micro leaches. Spoiled. Now hardly interested in summer fishing, too slow.
Biggest difference with ice fishing is that on most lakes ice anglers are there for the meat, (bonk, bonk). Many "trophy" lakes are not open to ice fishing and for good reason. But I understand there are a few that do really well in their key spots.
Rotten: Probably... Gonna watch the weather. Over.

I have been to Sheridan Lake fishing and we enjoy the wonderful area. I will continue to watch your site, I want to see it when you are frozen over. How does the ice-fishing compare to the regular boat fishing in the early summer?
Thank you Gary Bates

Big changes up there. Looks good, and cold. Hind of a late start tho... Almost time for winter work, burning etc. Who is going to be the first to drill for silver...? Looking forward to the next trip. Over.
