Sort of... It's sitting on gabion's. And the lake is obviously more than a foot above it's usual level. It's been an interesting year so far. I hope to at some point get a chance to see it in person! LOL |

Hey all, Just wanted to let you know that there was an attempted break in on Boulanger Road at the West end about 3:30am April 6. 2 shady characters walked up to the door, then spotted the cameras and took-off, pry bar in hand. We are banding together in that area to make sure we are all watching out, but might want to keep an eye out in your area too!

I remember being at Sulphurous lake on the May long weekend 1983. The lake was thawed about 10 ft from shore only. We took out the 12' boat, got out on the honeycomb ice and walked around a bit. The ice went out a few days later before the next weekend.

Winter continues into spring. Approximately 24" snow on the ground, and ice 20"+ thick that hasn't started to think about melting. A challenge to a May 17, 2008 ice out may be rising.
