Sharing a dream...... I had a vision, when I was four,a place which was safe and nothing more. As I grew older my dream came to light, for I have a memory that felt so right. My little legs carried me through the tall grass, reaching the lake which was clear as glass. The water was cold, but that didn't matter for I was here to recant the past. I untethered the rope attached to the rail, then set out for an afternoon sail. No fear in my heart, as the weather was calm, for I will land bravely just before dawn. For someone out there who's visions not near, go back to your childhood the answer is clear. For now I have landed my sail without fail. A vision....A dream... for a place at the lake. A moment in time that no-one can take.

Just curious what the price of gas is at Interlakes Stores. Any more break ins? Will be up Easter weekend to check out the cabin. Thank goodness we have year round neighbors that watch over the area.

Heading up tomorrow! so miss the lake can't wait to get up there!!

Just noticed the last post was from someone at Green Lake. I believe that Green Lake is now off limits with weak ice. I do suggest that you join the Green Lake Snowmobile Club so that you have a local contact to call who snowmobiles. The Club maintains the local Trails the same as we do here for the Sheridan/Deka Trails so they have local knowledge of conditions. It costs each of our Clubs a lot of money and volunteer time to maintain the snowmobile trails and membership helps us all enjoy our sport. You can call Larry at 250 456 2129

Hi, is always a guessin g game on the weather and snow conditions. We have 2 inches of light fluffy stuff this morning but are forecast for mild temps in the future. Will be going up to Green Lake on Thursday for the Easter Weekend. Any idea about the snow conditions in our area? Was thinking about bring up the new MXZX & Summit X, if we have enough snow. Otherwise, I'll be riding my old Phaser & Mach 1.

Yes Lake is generally safe with early spring conditions. Expect to find slush in the later part of each day.
