What a pleasure to view. It's been many years since I've last set afloat on Sheridan. Time to revisit them memories this summer.

Love to see a bit of the lake when we are so far away. How thick is the ice on the lake right now? Is there any snow left on land?

Lori & I were walking on it yesterday... slushy on top, still plenty solid though. Saw some fishermen augering through off Boulanger Point, but I did'nt see how deep. Only snow left is in the shade and of course the berms.

Can anyone say how much ice is now on the lake? How's the ice-fishing at this time?
Rob Saturday, 4 March 2006 12:50 PM
I think a 6lb out of a dozen entries took the prize at the derby. The locals claim the fishins best in years and the ice is fine. Most fishin, I saw, was done E. of the Island or in the Sheridan Park Resort bay. Good Luck!

I wish Rob, no such luck they say minus 40 for 4 weeks will do it. Otherwise cycle will peter out in 2013 and by then 80% of the pine will be dead

Kiwi,
If the cold snap kills a pine beattle or two, I'm all for it!
