Who is this mad trapper of Lone Butte?

Welcome to the snow season everyone.
A large section of our trails system is also a woodlot which has produced its ten year logging plan. Meetings with the company indicate no activity in the near future do to their commitment to beattle kill. As the registered trapper for the area and a snowmobile member I asked the company to respect our trails and not to deactivate them. They agreed.
Please remember that until February 15 the trails system is an active trap line. Don't try to satisfy your curiosity by investigating a trap location. This is not only illegal but very dangerous. I appreciate your respecting my livelihood.
Keep on the trails and enjoy the winter and please if you ride at night, keep the noise level to a minimum.

5 inches new snow on Nov 10th. Start the engines Ladies and Gentleman

I was there last week from 11/02/03 to 11/08/03. The sky were bright and sunny, had a 2 or 3 inches of snow but cold. Lots of trees down all over from wind storm the week before. Looks like we have a tree leaning in front of the camera too. Till next time Barry

I was told about this site about 3 months ago, I love visiting here to see what it's like at the lake. It is that time of year again... Turkey in the wood stove, nothing like it. Wishing you all an incredible Thanksgiving with your loved ones. I hope to see some snow up at the lake real soon.
