I have the lyrics, but they're posted on my fridge up at my cabin on the lake. It's a great poem. As for the homepage, I think this is a great idea. I'm going up to the cabin right after Christmas and it's great to check up and see how much snow and ice I can expected. I'm a little disappointed with the lack of snow and the thicknessless of the lake. Hopefully the temperature will drop in the next couple days and we can have some real fun in the snow and on the ice.

The previous poster refered to a poem by Audrey K Thompson. I wasn't able to find it online and would love to read it. If you have the full text would you mind emailing it to me? I too appreciate having the lake 'just a click away' and yearn to be there every time I see the photos. Especially on those days when it is dreary and raining down here and I see a crisp bright sunny day up at the lake.

My dad, George, and his brother,Harry, built the cabins in 1966 (when i was only 2!). so every time we pull into the yard, it always feels like we're coming home!
