Trails are likely to be a bit rough yet after the mild weather we have had as we down to 6 inches on the ground in the open areas. I ran a sled today from East Sheridan out to For Sale Island and back but did not venture further YET !!

Anybody sledding there yet? or are the trails too itchy / scratchy still ??

Hi Tim nice to see you are still about. Got out the axe this time after somebody gave me a friendly reminder that it was about time I ventured out onto the Ice. Not be long before it is the shortest day and then we are headed back to spring again (but slowly) I think this year.

Heads up for all you people living on Sheridan Lake. Just received an e-mail from the RCMP via Interlakes Snowmobile Club of three break ins over the weekend on Larch, Larson & Boulanger Roads. Apparently the suspects are looking for money and firearms. Only description are two males driving either an SUV or pickup. They are expected to return for quads etc. that they left behind the first time.

Yep likely we will see the snow descend on us when it warms up in a couple of days in the meantime we pile the wood in the woodstove
