Well, just off the dock the ice is a good foot deep. It's cracked along the shore and with the South wind, the lake is groaning amd moaning out there. Did I say ice off this week? might be wrong about that. LOL

FYI... Effective April 2 there will be an open burning ban for the Cariboo region. No slash or grassburning. Only small campfires permitted. Please be very careful. Lack of snow or rain has left things here very DRY.

Rob ,Thanks for the reply. You confirmed things . Bowers is at the same elevation as Sheridan. One of our cabin neighbours just got back and said , there is a larger than usual hole forming around the little island.He thinks things there could be breaking up within a few weeks.I've been coming up since 78 and this will be a record.2 years ago broke the record for the latest off.... May 20.Weird stuff. tk
