Tim,
I see that the lake water temp is now 41F... Last year, when it hit 41F it was on 4/28... just 1 week before ice-off. So.... I'll be up there next week and expecting to see the break-up. One month earlier then normal! May flies will be hatching in May!
But, I could be wrong... LOL

Thanks for the info. I can picture it perfectly. I just need to find a dry spot for the kids to be happy. They don't need much room. We're all looking forward to getting back up there. Sorry about the snowmobile season........... Next year should make up for it.

You will find some trails in the shade with good snow cover still and break up is just starting so they may be mud or water in a lot of locations. In any situation where the sun gets in the trails will be bare and almost dry.

Are the trails in shape for dirtbiking / atv'ing ? or is there still snow or break up mud. We're coming up for the Easter weekend and are wondering if we'll be able to ride. We usually don't start until the May long weekend but as you know it hasn't been a normal winter. Last time up the meadows looked clear, not sure about the trails. Is it worth bringing them up. ? Thanks

does anyone in the sheridan lake / bridge lake area know if cell phone coverage improved at all along highway 24..... maybe because of olympic traffic coming from alberta?

Yes you are quite right it is looking like the Ice is getting water soaked in places. Only natural with the stronger sun and the higher temperatures during the day. Was plus 9 today in the shade

Anyone concur/can confirm that it's looking a little watery/dark out in the middle there on the webcam?
