Having had Dock Itch in the worst way many years Rob I know the cure is a sled so you can access that Paradise year round. There is a flatter spot on the West side of your place where you can pull stuff up but I found that I was safe most springs by pulling the wharf parallel to the shore and tying it up there. The real cure is being there of course and fending off the little floes as they head you way.
Cheers

Yeah John, I got the "itch" all right. Im thinking of buying a hoist so I can stack up the quads etc in my garage and make some room for new toys...aka sleds. I hate missing out on 6 months of lake time...Im hoping I can drag the dock up with no problems...wish our place was a little flatter...

Hey Rob what you have is a case of "Cariboo Dock Itch" it is common this time of year . You are right in asking the wife for a little "sled" it will help . Good luck with both!

Am fast running out of tissues over here slopping up the drool. Yes Bill a lot to be said for the T660 with its turbo 4 stroke. Is a shame they seem to have replaced it but who knows what the future holds. The T660's only negative that I can see is the very short track but is all you need for most of the conditions we experience around here and it can whip around a corner like a shot.
Oh well we will see what the future holds could be some surprises yet

Only reason they get stuck is because of the rider (that's me). They have a slower acceleration from a dead stop than a 2 stroke but in the long run can outrun anything. Last year we had lunch at Little Horse Lodge and did a high speed run across Green Lake afterwards. I passed a Crossfire 800 like it was standing still. I have a Cat.Jaguar Z1 while my wife has a Cat. T660 Turbo. I must say her sled can take mine in spite of my 1100CC. Drool Kiwi!

Yup! Do the snow dance. Took the batteries out the other day and fired up my four strokes. Purrrrrrred like kittens. Only problem is that I now have to carry jumper cables as the 4 stroke does not have a pull start due to the engine compression.
