As long as the snow holds off for another week so I can pull my dock out and winterize...Ill be happy and cheering for a good deep snow for sledding season...

Yes Bill we are getting ready for the snow reports and have installed the "snow pole" in the ground outside my window.
Could be awhile yet before we get a snowfall that will stay but if history plays a part in this then "Halloween" is the normal time for the snow to stick.

So Kiwi, I see you have activated the weather report on the ISC site. When will the first snowfall occur? We had a good dusting here on Sat. Went for a ride today and had to dodge the great white hunters. Lots of ice on the mud holes out there.

The idea of a specific forum on www.abcsnow.ca does not have enough support(thanks ronnie and the War dept). so will shelve another idea along with many others.
Huge crop of Spuds this year just dug one that was over 2lbs all by itself.
Snow on the ground on East side of Bridge Lake today.
Cheers

Took our quads out into the trails today and it was beautiful with all the fall colors. Very crisp and some snowflakes but nothing serious. Active logging on C Trail so beware. No bears seen, can't believe that the guy on Green Lake killed a bear with a "stick" must have been a pretty big one!

Okay Eagle Eye.......here's one for you that ought to spark some interest....
Our place at Sheridan used to be kind of pretty, until some dude moved next door from the city,
He cut down all his trees, which scared away the moose, deer, birds and bees,
I'd tar and feather him if I could, but my spouse says that would do no good,
So I guess I'll chill and have another beer,
cause around our place it looks like it's gonna be turkey season all year!
Cheers!
