Shouldn't be too long. A friend broke through the ice a few feet from shore today on his quad. It likely will be gone before the end of the month.

I can remember riding past that special place once... When I returned, to show my wife later, We couldn't find it. I suppose that's how gnomes are though.

I got a report today that the ice is approaching 30" thick. I guess the below seasonal temperatures combined with the below seasonal snow levels has led to some very thick ice!
