WebCam is showing open water, and lake water temperature on Weather page says 39°. Can anyone tell me if these are accurate and up-to-date? If so, a prediction for ice over?

Lorin, The lake sensor is accurate, but lies close to 3' below the surface. So you will see the bays and channels start to skim over in a couple weeks? even though the sensor shows it's above freezing...

Just watched the more yesterday video from 11-14-2016 and noticed at just after 1700 hours there were lights coming off of the lake. Not small ones either, get many float planes after dark flying at your house? OR.....UFO's, Just throwing that out there. What with pink flamingos and purple elephants in the neighbourhood nothing seems to be out of the question.

Am here now, Mark left last week. He hooked into one, a real jumper. Lot's of fond memories of you and all of us together... Good to see you're doing well and seeing Pink Flamingos. Who knows, with global warming, they might be as plentiful as geese up here!

Hello Shana.
Have you considered the Interlakes Community Centre?
The Centre can hold 150 or more people comfortably and the volunteers would love to cater your dinner. Bar service can be arranged. There is a great oak dance floor and there are round and oblong tables with white linen tablecloth available. This looks like a commercial but is not intended that way.
Sorry, there is no lake view although the Heritage trail is great for pictures and it is right beside the Centre at Roe Lake.

Hi There!
Here's an interesting question:
Does anyone know a place where I could hold a wedding? Preferably lakeside, open to suggestions!
Maybe even just property where we could set up tents for reception space?
I've looked at some of the guest ranches in the interlaces area, but most do not have the capacity we are hoping for (80-100 people)
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, it has always been my dream to be married near my family cabin (Our property is too small)

Hi Shana,
We have a place in Lone Butte where for past 3 years we've hosted an annual work party for between 60-90 people. We've built a covered pavillion in a big open field with tables and benches.
