I see the lake temperature is up to 44F today. Should help things along a bit. Weather looks to be decent this coming week. So long as I am fishing on the 13th I will be happy.

With the KIWIcam running again, I see that I'm half right and Mr Rotten will most likely be 1/2 right tomorrow... a couple of weeks to turn the lake over and Mr RockinShelby will be very Happy on the 13th!

ABC will do a power-cycle next time there physically out at the tower... no eta. I can login to the camera, but it's not responding to commands.

Yes, very hard to predict. A warmer windy day and the ice disappears quickly. It was still 8-9 inches last weekend by my dock.

Im just wondering...looking at todays picture March 23, the camera view on the Kiwi East makes it look like the lake is thawing. It looks very wet. Is that the case

I was out on Horse this morning,it looks like it has had water on top but was solid in the morning.6" of white ice on 18" of blue ice

avg 30" around 100 mile,less further north,water on La Hache and Williams but still fishable

Ice measured around 20" in late Feb. That's probably fairly typical. It's around 17" now.

Hello all. Hoping someone might be able to help some friends out. They are looking to rent a place on the lake for a reunion on the August Long weekend. They are looking for a house or cabin with room for 3-4 trailers and some tents. If you know of anyone who would be willing to rent their place for such an occasion, please let me know and I will forward the information on. Ok... spring can arrive anytime now.
