The webcam outage is due to the WIFI connection no longer being at the Sheridan Lake Store since the owner changed The following came from Highways/Dtive BC today
"The WIFI tower appears to have been moved so the Sheridan Lake web camera is now out of range. We may have to change the communication method for this camera, which could take a few weeks.
We understand the importance and benefit of the BC highway cams to the driving public and our technicians are working hard to get this web cam operating.
Thank you for your feedback. I hope that I have addressed your inquiry and that you continue to use DriveBC. "
So it should be up again one day when they find another method of communicating.

Good Bill thought it was not much use wondering any longer when a little action might get the answers. Mt Begbie Webcam is working just fine

when that store was just getting started on their renovation, i was wondering if they some how cut the the power to the camera on the power pole.... just a thought, as it seems weird that it has been out of service this long. I hope we don't all have to wait for a new government before it gets fixed.

Hey Kiwi, Great minds think alike. I also sent an e-mail to drive bc telling them to get off their @$%^&&^$@ and fix the camera. If Gordo can spend $240,000 of our money on a televised speech, I think they could afford to send a tech. out to repair the webcam.

I wrote to Drive BC today to see if we can get the Cam up and running again

When you guys up there see Donna...ask her to get the Highway 24 webcam fixed while she is in a fixing mood....

I see Donna is taking credit for fixing the railway crossing on Highway 24 that was long overdue amazing what the threat of recall will do.

RECALL is the only way to get rid of Gordo and his band of thieves. We actually got back $750,000 in tax dollars for the paving of West Sheridan.
