OMG! Just got back from a round trip to Nath Rd. and was pleasantly surprised to see W. Sheridan Lake Rd. PAVED probably as far as Boulanger. Waaaaay overdue!

The store is or will be shutdown shortly for the winter as it was last year under the new owner who also owns the Interlakes store.
As bc Highways list the webcam image as temporarily unavailable and they have a number of webcams listed the same I am inclined to think it has nothing to do with the store at all and highways will put it back on again sometime down the road (no pun intended !)

I was just up there and the Camera is still there infront of the store, BUT the store is being completely renovated, so maybe that has something to do with it.

does anyone know if that camera in front of the sheridan store is ever going to be back on line? it comes in quite handy if you are headed in that direction. ....especially, in the winter.

There have been breakins at Murphy this year as well even at water access only cabins.

I gotta get up there...hopefully the idiots try to break in then..god I hate low-lifes...I suppose you could buy your stuff back at the bar in 100 mile for 20 bucks...wtf?

Apparently the thieves have come back for another round and hit some more cabins that they didn't hit the first go around on the South Shore. They are stealing gas, change, lighters and other small odds and ends; in addition to making a mess.

Coincidence Rob I think as I doubt that they would use the local wireless isp that recently changed hands. More likely it is the new hands tightening the belt

maybe gordon campell should come up and fix the camera..... but it will cost 25 cents a peek, plus of course, HST!
