We were out on our ATV's today and checked the Main Trails (A,#5&7). Not much snow but lots off ice. Side trails look good but we did not want to rip them up with the ATV's. More snow than I thought and the forecast is for cooler temps. with possible flurries.

Do not give up yet Cory winter is just starting. No change on the trails except for a little more snow gone. Is plus 2.5 right now and has been every day for the last few days

Any word on the trails, or should we be putting the snowmobiles away for the season?

Have started uploading the 09/10 Interlakes Snowmobile Club Pics to the page. Will continue as they come available to me. Snow conditions generally very slim but Lake is excellent, was out there today to check it out. No fisherman out when I was on the Ice. Trails have very sparce coverage on them but they are rideable.

Hi Cory, We have been out twice on the trails around Sheridan and there is "just" enough snow on them. You will hit rocks and roots unless we have a good snowfall. Lots of trees down on the trails but we are going out in the next few days to clear them. If you go higher to Opax etc. there is apparently good powder. Ice thickness is good for sleds on the lake.

We are planning a snowmobile trip Jan 20th to 23rd and I'm getting a little worried about the depth of the snow, think there will be enough? Long term forecast does not look too promising. How are the trails?

question... anybody up there ever see any cougars up in the area around interlakes. Two cougar attacks in 2 days, one south and one north of the area.
