OK ... it's a month to Xmas and I see no snow and no ice ... can we say "hello global warming"!

We have ice on our bay at the west end of Sheridan but it is only a skim. With this slight snowfall it looks like the lake is frozen over, BUT stay off the lake.

Snowing right now actually. This weather about normal for this time of year. But we normally have about 2 to 4 inches or so on the ground but suspect it will not be long.So lomg as we get the Ice by the end of the month then (should) be okay by Christmas on the Ice.

Shouldnt there be snow on the ground by now?

Yep you be right on that Rob, trees down all over the pace over here but power back on for most folks around 9am yesterday. Maybe tree's down on the trails and will not know until we get some snow and Ice and go out there.

did you guys get the huge windstorm we had at the coast? If so, theres probly some trees down...wouldnt have to worry about the power at our/your old place kiwi!!
