I augered the Ice when I was there several days ago... It was 2' thick in front of the cameras. But it's consistency was more of slushy/white ice then the hard/clear ice of Feb. So I'm guessing that lake ice doesn't melt like the ice cubes in my glass of bourbon but rather decomposes all at once over time... now where did I set my glass...

anyone out there know how thick the ice is?

No I did not Pistolpete but from those I talked to out there the Lake fished very well with good condition 4 to 6lbers common early in the season but it dropped off very quickly in early Mar to nearly nothing.

Kiwi u do any ice fishing this year? or did you hear how anyone did?
