Snowed a tad last night Rob but suffices to say I had to put away the snow level gauge in the back yard as the grass is turning green. Imagine the snow will take quite awhile to go on the A Trail especially in the shady areas.
A tunnel under Hwy 24 would be the way to go but imagine the chances of that are slim to none but we can but hope.
The Lone Butte pub will reopen in early May I understand.
Cheers

Looking at ...more yesterdays, this week in 2007 and 2008, we're somewhere in the middle of those two years in the thaw? It appears to be still snowing last year at this time! I hope the Iron Horse opens again, I've got some good memories there, and it's a good destination for a quad ride! If they could just build a bridge over 24 to the Fish-On to ride over...???

Ice is between 22 and 24 inches in most places.
Iron Horse will re-open with a new owner in May after being shut all winter.
Horse Lake is solid ice right to Skadies Bridge.
