Thanks to all for the info. love the comedy! Spoke to pobba at NBL and the lake was clear Monday so....let the games begin. Back to beautiful BC!

May Long Weekend ?? all y'a need to fish is 5 things (besides y'o gear) is an ice auger,life jacket ,oars,snow shovel,,,,,,an a close relationship with the boat your dragging behind you.

I have booked the May long weekend for Sheridan lake fishing. Anyone out there think that the ice will be off or am I just being overly optomistic?

Spoke to a friend today who stated they just measured the ice on Horse Lake and it was 35cm (14"). So folks don't count on the ice being off Sheridan Lake by the May 19th weekend!

Was by Horse Lake today and Ice is looking a bit sick at the west end. Maybe 50 ft of water out from Skadies Bridge but a long way to go yet. Normally Sheridan goes out 2 weeks after Horse Lake goes
