Not a problem Rob, it seems there will be action on top of what I know as Fir Ridge and to the south of there. The road may open up by itself beforehand but I would imagine the problem area will be as in the past above #2 Lake and from the Forestry Fence past Pretty Lake (also called Hannah Lake by some)
Anhow good luck and when you do get it do paste the event up here.
Happy Days
Cheers Kiwi

Thanks Kiwi!! I noticed all the markings on the trees last summer. Hope they don't make too much of a mess over there, although maybe they will improve the road a little...its been getting pretty rough lately as you know.

Hey Sledroller, thanks I owe you one. Is anything melting? What are they doing next door? last time they cleared stuff a tree landed on our chimney. I heard a log home is going there. Keep in touch.

you will not get in before early May. The roads are packed hard and the nights are cool. Even forestry and the loggers are still snowmobiling back there but who knows maybe they will put in a grader and open it up as there are lots of markings on the trees where they are going to log in the future (who knows when)
Cheers

Dogsled: the only dead body to be found this past weekend was in my bathtub and it had 8 legs -- the hockey/curling rink is officially done for the season -- some yahoos were riding their sleds over it -- I wonder who that was??
Eagle Eye: the booby trap is still there -- no B&E's for you -- construction in the works next door.
Jolly Roger: your roof colors don't match -- one too many refreshments that day when picking them out or??
Steve: All is as it should be -- maybe it's time to think about topping those dead trees??
Cheers!

Ice off is going to be late this year without a doubt.
I will be stopping the updating of the Snowmobile Club Page on April 11th as most trails are almost closed and the Ice is becoming unpredictable with any amount of confidence.
Take good care when on the Ice, weak spots develop later in every afternoon most days as the temps increase.
Kiwi (see you next fall when the snow flies again)

Good Luck on May 3rd... :) Last year the Lake Water Temp bumped off of 35 degrees on March 29 and started it's rise, ending on May 2nd (ice off) at 43 degrees!
