You know the nice thing about this weather? When you drink outside and set your drink down, it gets colder.
Love that about Easter at the lake.

Bitterly cold here, 100' out on the lake it's 8" ice. Snomobiling is fast on the lake but with the wind, only 2" of snow is out there, so I feared melting my glides. Shaping up to be another good winter!

Ice went on Tuesday night Nov 19 when it went down to -22. As far as we could see from the south shore the ice was all on Wednesday. Thursday there was an inch thickness on the shore. 12 inches of snow on the trails so we are using the sleds already.

Hey Rob..
Didn't the Kiwi cam and the 2 other smaller sheridan lake cams used to be live?
They seem to be stuck days on an old image.
This is not meant as a criticism, i appreciate what you have done ,and whatever images we end up getting.More curious than anything.
Thanks, Tim

Bill only quality people in Kamloops except one and hopefully the cops will get him LoL. I would guess the bulk of the crime comes out of 100 Mile and areas near. You need a knowledge of the area for some of the more remote areas that have been hit in the past. Lots to steal in Kamloops if that is what you want to do without going for a road trip. Lots of jobs also, not so in the 100 Mile area causing desperation.

Boxerboy these guys are not stealing because they need it, they are ripping everyone off for a profit. Most of them come from the Kamloops Area & hit seasonal properties. We had a rash of breakins on South Sheridan a few years ago & the good old RCMP did nothing. Their response was "You can expect this in the Cariboo, that is why you have insurance". Look after your own property by any means available!
