Just putting it out there, has anyone else noticed that the link for the "South Shore" webcam is no longer functional. I've looked into it out of curiosity and the site it was run through "bloomsky" seems to no longer be a functional site and is completely offline. Not saying I have the skills to fix it, but not ideal to have a camera offline. I suspect the camera itself is working fine, just the website hosting it is no longer there. Didn't know if anyone knew so I figured I'd mention it.

Worse I remember was 2001, we were whing about lack of snow for the annual Christmas Ride then. Thankfully the Mathew's family pulled through with the naked snow dance event.

Does anyone know if the outlet culverts were modified after 'the great flood' a few years ago? The lake level is surprisingly low to start the season given the significant amount of snow we had.

Is this the new high water mark? (Approximately 30" below the flood level from years ago)

When I used "Deep thoughts" calculation of Ice off on June 6, I forgot to factor in the time difference between Planet Earth and Planet Magrathea. Which puts it squarely on May 7th. just saying...

If you hadn't already this year, you've missed your chance to ice skate on Sheridan. All clear! I said May 14. My closest yet! Looks like Lipripper is the closest with May 5th. "Deep thought" can hang its head in shame as being the least accurate.
