I was there the week after Thanksgiving and had cell service (Bell) on my iPhone everywhere I went (never less than 3 bars)... on the lake, off the lake, didn't matter... lost service just east of Lac Des Roche on Hwy 24. It worked everywhere around Sheridan.
Landed a 9 pounder my first evening there, my second biggest fish ever. Followed up with a handful of fish the next three days that were 5 - 6 pounds, the fishing wasn't fast and furious but those that were fooled were big and full of fight! Cabin now shut down until next April or May and another season in the books, does the year ever go by fast!

It's a snowin and a blowin here... It's all good though, got my bourbon, a fire and VCR for company... oh and an old fashioned rotary dial phone on the wall. Works every time.

We were up on the Thanksgiving weekend and got service at the end of Boulanger Rd (West). Funny part was we weren’t getting any bars (or one if we were lucky) but it was indicating “3G” which I’m sure was 4G (iPhone doesn’t show the difference). We were able to get internet, text messages as well as calls. They probably still have some “tuning” to do so it can only get better. Regarding Rogers, is it possible for them to lease from Telus now which means other carriers could be coming soon?

Rene, Thanks for the explanation. All these years we thought you were just a Twister fanatic.

cell service only for Telus customers on the southside of Sheridan. Rogers still does not have coverage. Although if I stand on my head and cross my fingers I can get one bar in one place in my cabin and I can send a text and get internet but I can't make or receive calls. Sigh. Guess I'll change carriers in the spring.

Only a suggestion, maybe try Burbon. My experience in most bars, the reception gets better. Careful though it changes thier perception and draws in more dangerous cougars.

Hi Bill,
The burbot or bubbot is the only gadiform freshwater fish. Also known as mariah, the lawyer, and eelpout, the burbot is closely related to the marine common ling and the cusk. It is the only member of the genus Lota.
Are you sure you have an Internet connection?
