Thunderstorms moving through the area, very little rain but the smoke is almost gone. We actually saw the sun today, first time in four days!

Visibility maybe 1/2 Mile at the most. Sure affects me with the COPD

Speaking of ATVrs, 2 young man were killed on the 1500 rd out of LacLaHache on Saturday morning. Speed and alcohol were said to be factors. Lost control and hit several trees, killed instantly. I once encountered 2 young men on ATVs racing on that logging road, side by side coming at me. Very foolish and deadly.

Yup, Inversion layer of smoke in this area but it has kept the temps. down to the mid 20's.

Looking at the 2 Sheridan webcams , also the bridge lake webcam , seems smoke has settled in again. Begby summit webcam( highway 97) is also hazy in the distance. Williams lake really socked in.Kamloops not bad , Spences Bridge clear

Yes things maychange for the crazies on the biles/atv's shortly when they really start to police the roads and backcountry. Surprise time is coming

The only pollution in the air is from the dust created by all the weekend warriors roaring up and down the road on their dirt bikes/atv's with no helmets, no shoes and no liability insurance! Hey Kiwi good day today!
