We are coming to the lake May 28, will the fishing be any good

2 feet of Ice there yet Rob, do not hold your breath. My guess !! is May 26th Maybe. The swallows have not even returned yet so it has a long way to go

wow...the lake is starting to look like a lake again... Can't wait!!

Well folks who ever is going up in the next couple weeks...Pull out your hipwaiters and I don't mean for water,the mud is nasty!!!quading and walking is a little difficult right now.Lots of things going on, and ice on the canal side of the bay pretty much melted sat....She was hot on sat!I was lucky to see an inch or 2 of grass on our side..
Sledroller:everything good except your driveway 4-6 in of mud...
Hockeysteve:Tons of mud and a few snapped of trees starting to come down close to cabin....
Eagle eye:All snow at your place...no mud...

Anybody know if ice out at Canim Lake?,trying to get up there next week

Info. on the back roads, south side of Sheridan Lake. We took our ATV's down #7 Forestry Road this morning and turned back before reaching the cattle guard at A Road.
We were in 4WD but kept slipping & sliding in the deep ruts in the ice. It is all ice, snow & mud out there right now with the occasional swimming pool, not pleasant. Doubt you could drive down A Road for a few more weeks.

Surface water on the ice due to the warming temps. Still 20" out there! Some melting around the shores which the geese are enjoying.

Wow, looks like the ice, or the snow on top of the ice has started to melt. Wahoooo
Looks like early June should be prime time.
