Above is a link to the photos I took today of the north shore spanning from Sheridan Park Resort (Paradise Bay) to the end of the channel. I apologize if I didn't get a close up of your place, but hopefully you will see that each place has been protected and provides some comfort.
The burnt forest is at the end of the lake between the resort and the first cabin on the south side.
There is no longer fire burning there.

Thank you Steve for posting these photos of cabins with sprinklers. This is very reassuring for folks watching from afar. Can you confirm that all cabins on Boulanger Road, lake side have been set up with sprinklers? Our strip of cabins were not photographed so just want confirmation if you have that info. We are in the area behind the small island in the South bay before the channel. Area of 2nd lake access north from Paradise Bay Resort.

I can confirm your places have sprinklers. I met an ex Vancouver firefighter who was staying at the place either right next to you or one over (he didn't leave when the order came down). I'm not sure that he's still there, but he was when the fire crews setup the sprinklers.

I am also going to share a picture of Chris, the owner of Paradise Bay resort. Chris has been working around the clock to provide assistance to the crews! Our nieghbour has been doing all he can to help out. They must be exhausted! Thanks so much Chris for supporting the ground crews. Heros! I wish they could make a documentry and put it on Global!
Speaking of global, Chris was on again just now.

🙏🙏🙏 for a good night. Neighbour just said the fire is about 3k behind us and helicopter dumping right now!!!! Looking more positive just behind us at the moment...
