Thank you everyone for your updates.
A few questions... does anyone know the best place to make donations? Is the Red Cross still the best?
How do we order those t-shirts that we're posted?
And where should we post thank you photos for the fire fighters?
Best!
K

My family as well is very thankful for the news we get from our fellow Sheridan / Cariboo Strong area residents. Big thank you to Steve for all you are doing for us keeping the owners informed. Had to go see the lake last night for myself from all the updates yesterday and great job being done by all to protect our properties. THANK YOU oh so much.

Spent part of the day on Sheridan South side.Funny what you grab when you have that last chance.Whew glad I grabbed that Pez dispenser. The shuttle across was late and the drivers suit was wrinkled and he smelt like smoke. He was a nice guy who was very caring of all of the south side and their properties. A guy who selflessly sends info and pictures to all who can not be there and does what he can for them. His name was Steve I think, I am not sure though I was drinking Gin and Gatorade. We enjoyed a G+G together and watched the bombers fly over Snowballs. I was so impressed with the service I took another ride over late in the day with another passenger he had scheduled for pick up. Once Steve dropped him off at his place he took me to his place to see his irrigation system that he had just installed. Wow what a nut, he put the sprinklers on his roof ????? I tried to explain that nothing grows there but he would not listen. Managed to steal a couple of boats along the way but we were not smart enough to get the trailers and had to leave the boats at Sheridan Lake Resort. Steve's other passenger was able to get what he needed from his place and joined us in his boat on our trip back. Steve and him hit it off pretty well and think they were going to spend the night together drinking G+G’s at Sheridan Lake Resort. All in all happy with the service I received, the price was reasonable and would recommend Steve’s Shuttle Service.

Forever grateful for everything done so far and hoping we will get sprinklers on our property tomorrow. The 50+ years in the family is really pulling at the heart strings. Hoping for the best for everyone at the lake, please update if possible. Thanks

Thank you all for keeping us updated, Steve, Bill, Ron & Crystal, Brent's Desk! We feel very helpless here at the coast. Our place is on the North side, just a few up from the resort. That picture shows directly across from us. Very happy to hear no structures have been burned there. Huge thank you's to the legendary crews that are there fighting for us all!
We are awaiting our order from www.bcwildfiretshirts.com and would like to challenge all out of area rec property owners to purchase and contribute to these amazing crews who are there keeping our places as safe as possible in the most challenging conditions. CARIBOO STRONG!

(2476) After an evening cruise I can confirm no structures lost on Sheridan. Fire within 50m of Sheridan Park resort. Also on the front lawn of the first cabin on the south side but crew on the ground responding. The end of the lake towards No. 2 lake has been burnt.

Sprinkler systems have now be been deployed along the south side up to Rene's place (south of the break in the big island).

The next cluster of cabins starting with Wishlow's look to be on the list for tomorrow (speculation).

There appear to be more crew on the ground with the necessary resources. They are doing a wonderful job.

Pic of bombers from today.

Trouble posting the second pic...says it is too large. There were 6 firefighters setting up sprinklers and protecting the next cabin down too...try and sleep tight!
