I saw one 3 yrs ago in Feb, while snowmobiling with Norm East of Bridge Lake on a remote logging road... kind of skinny and not so intimidating as I might of thought the encounter would be.

If it helps Gary, go to Interlakes Snowmobile Club Page for daily weather updates usually done about 7/8am in the morning but I will be way Feb 28th to Mar 4th.
We are working on the webcam problem and will fix it as quick as we can.

Ice thickness is about normal for this time of the year at that location. This measurement came from one of the Ice Fisherman out on the Lake who had just measured the thickness on Sat the 17th.
I gathered the fishing is a bit off right now. wink

Wow - 28" of ice? How does this compare to other years? I know it used to be about the norm a long time ago.

Also want to say that I love "Yesterday at the Lake". What a great feature!
